12Expert Tips to Crack EXIM Bank MT 2026
Part I is compulsory and carries 40 marks — all on financial statement analysis. Treat it like a CA-level exercise. Practice reading real company annual reports and computing ratios from raw data.
EXIM Bank evaluators prefer structured, concise answers. Use bullet points, numbered lists, tables, and subheadings in Part II. A well-organized answer scores higher than a lengthy essay.
Read the bank's website, recent press releases, and annual report. Knowing EXIM Bank's actual products (Buyer's Credit, Lines of Credit, Export Finance) sets your answers apart in both written and interview rounds.
Part II questions on current economic events are common. Track RBI policy decisions, forex rates, India's trade deficit data, and major export deals in the 3 months before the exam.
Since the exam is fully subjective, timed practice is critical. Set a 150-minute timer, solve Part I in 45–50 minutes, then attempt 6 of 8 Part II questions — practicing this split builds speed and discipline.
