The FCI Manager (Category II) exam is conducted by the Food Corporation of India (FCI), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. Established on 14 January 1965, FCI manages procurement, storage, and distribution of food grains across India — a mission-critical role in ensuring the country's food security.
FCI Manager is a Group B Gazetted Officer post (Category II). Citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intent to settle permanently in India.

5Exam Pattern 2026
🔑 FCI Manager selection has 4 stages: Phase I (Online, common) → Phase II (Online, post-specific) → Interview → 6-month Training. No negative marking in Phase II. Phase I has sectional time limits of 15 minutes each.
