Maharashtra Police Constable Recruitment 2026 (पोलीस शिपाई भरती 2026) is a state-level recruitment drive conducted by the Maharashtra Police Department to fill constable-level vacancies across all districts, commissionerates, and SRPF units of Maharashtra. The current drive, Police Bharti 2024-25, has 15,631 posts approved by the Home Department GR of 20 August 2025.
The recruitment follows a three-stage process: Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and a Written Examination. Candidates with at least 50% in the PET (up to 10 times the vacancies in each category) sit the 100-mark written paper, and final merit is computed out of 150 marks (50 PET + 100 Written). Candidates who have passed Class 12 and are physically fit are eligible.

3. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Minimum 12th Pass (HSC) from any recognised board for most posts. For the Bandsman post only, Class 10 (SSC) pass is accepted.
Nationality & Domicile
Must be an Indian citizen. Maharashtra domicile is required to claim reservation category benefits (OBC/SC/ST). Non-Maharashtra candidates can apply under Open/General category.
